South Dakota High School Basketball - Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] thwarts Redfield

February 4, 2025: Gettysburg, SD 57442

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) and the visiting Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), observed Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven]'s basketball team knock off Redfield by a score of 44-27.

The Battlers (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Chargers come into the B Region 6 challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Sully Buttes was knocked off by Jones County (Murdo, SD), 51-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pheasants encounter the Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Redfield will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 48-34 non-league win over Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD).
