The Zachary Broncos (Zachary, LA) basketball crushed the host St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers (Baton Rouge, LA), 81-25 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Broncos now possess a 20-5 record. They play next when they host Scotlandville for a 5A District 4 bout on Friday, February 7. Zachary will play a Hornets team coming off a 32-23 league loss to Central (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-15.
With the loss, St. Joseph's Academy falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Redstickers travel to Live Oak (Watson, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Live Oak lost 61-52 in their recent non-league bout against Northshore (Slidell, LA)
