Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Stevenson holds off Mattawan

The Stevenson Spartans ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the visiting Mattawan Wildcats to 5 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now hold a 7-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hartland for a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. Stevenson will play a Eagles team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 34-2.
With the defeat, Mattawan moves to 17-3 on the season. The Wildcats host DeWitt (DeWitt, MI) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-7. DeWitt won 4-0 in their recent league bout against Okemos (Okemos, MI)
