The St. Francis Gladiators ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the visiting Petoskey Northmen to 1 in the Gladiators non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Gladiators now hold a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Negaunee for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. St. Francis will play a Miners team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Hancock (Hancock, MI). The Miners record now stands at 5-14.

With the defeat, Petoskey moves to 12-7 on the season. The Northmen travel to Alpena (Alpena, MI) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 14-7. Alpena won 5-4 in their recent non-league bout against Calumet (Calumet, MI)
