In Tuesday's non-league test, the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), by a score of 60-36.
Next, the Bruins clash with the Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 5. Western Branch will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 7-6 record after their 50-42 non-league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA).
The Hawks (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Nansemond River bounced Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA), 72-54, in a non-league test.
