In Saturday's non-league outing, the Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) basketball squad edged the host Rock Creek Christian Academy White Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD), by a count of 66-62.
The Lions (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Knights go into the Washington Catholic outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, St. Mary's Ryken was tipped by Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA), 74-52, in a league outing.
