The Avonworth Antelopes basketball team (Pittsburgh, PA), was routed 67-37 in Sunday's non-league battle with the visiting Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA)

The Tigers now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Allegheny for a WPIAL 5A 4 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Moon Area will battle a Indians team coming off a 61-48 league loss to North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Indians record now stands at 8-11.

The Antelopes (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Montour (McKees Rocks, PA). The Spartans come into the WPIAL 4A 4 battle with a 7-13 record. In their last battle, Montour trounced East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA), 74-37, in a league battle.
