The St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) basketball felled the visiting Haverhill Hillies (Haverhill, MA), 70-62 in Sunday's non-league test.
The Eagles (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Central Catholic thwarted North Andover (North Andover, MA), 59-55, in a league test.
The Hillies now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Billerica Memorial for a Merrimack Valley - Small test on Tuesday, February 7. Haverhill will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 63-57 league loss to Methuen (Methuen, MA). The Indians record now stands at 4-9.
