Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Hoosac Valley Hurricanes (Cheshire, MA) and the host Newman AAA Cardinals (Boston, MA), saw Hoosac Valley's basketball squad overcome Newman AAA by a tally of 75-59.
With the victory, Hoosac Valley improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 10-3.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Cushing Academy Penguins (Ashburnham, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Newman AAA will attempt to improve on its 11-17 season record.
