Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Darien can't get by La Salle Academy

La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) fans left the game happy Sunday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the visiting Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT), 4-3 in a non-league match.
The Rams (10-5) will now prepare for their match against Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Sentinels enter the State Championship Division match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Smithfield was nipped by Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT), 5-0, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Blue Wave clash with the Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) in a FCIAC match, on Wednesday, February 8. Darien will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record.
