The Coventry Patriots basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Amistad Wolves to 35 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockville for a North Central Connecticut contest on Wednesday, February 7. Coventry will battle a Rams team coming off a 71-67 league loss to Canton (Canton, CT). The Rams record now stands at 9-7.

The Wolves (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Naugatuck (Naugatuck, CT). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Naugatuck was defeated by Torrington (Torrington, CT), 73-63, in a league contest.
