The Northeast Eagles basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Annapolis Panthers to 66 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meade for a Anne Arundel County contest on Friday, February 9. Northeast will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 67-45 league win over North County (Glen Burnie, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-4.
The Panthers (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Chesapeake Science Point (Hanover, MD). The enter the Anne Arundel County contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Chesapeake Science Point was defeated by Meade (Fort Meade, MD), 78-55, in a league contest.
