Kentucky High School Basketball - Calvary Christian knocked off by Augusta

The Augusta Panthers basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Calvary Christian Cougars to 70 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pendleton County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Augusta will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 56-50 non-league win over Model (Richmond, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-11.
The Cougars (8-18) will now prepare for their contest against Villa Madonna (Covington, KY). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Villa Madonna ran past St. Patrick (Maysville, KY), 66-26, in a non-league contest.
