The Benjamin Franklin Falcons (New Orleans, LA) basketball crushed the visiting West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA), 70-47 in Monday's non-league test.

The Falcons (8-18) will now prepare for their test against Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Rams go into the 4A District 11 test with a 19-8 record. In their last test, Carver Collegiate Academy walloped Abramson (New Orleans, LA), 58-23, in a league test.

The Buccaneers now own a 8-21 record. They play next when they travel to John Ehret for a 5A District 8 test on Tuesday, February 6. West Jefferson will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 69-42 league win over Chalmette (Chalmette, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 10-14.
