The Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME) basketball nipped the host Fryeburg Raiders (Fryeburg, ME), 54-49 in Monday's league test.

The Dragons (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME). The Eagles go into the A South test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Mt. Ararat got by Massabesic (Waterboro, ME), 71-49, in a league test.

The Raiders now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Gray-New Gloucester for a A South test on Tuesday, February 6. Fryeburg will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 82-78 league loss to Noble (North Berwick, ME). The Patriots record now stands at 15-2.
