Varsity Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Carlisle Christian Academy Knights (Carlisle, PA), 49-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 385-1394 on the season. The travel to Michigan Collegiate (Warren, MI) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Michigan Collegiate lost 57-56 in their recent non-league bout against University Prep Art & Design (Detroit, MI)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Twin Valley Bible Academy Pioneers (Narvon, PA) in a Pennsylvania Christian bout, on Friday, February 9. Carlisle Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 49-36 league win over Red Lion Christian (Red Lion, PA).
