The St. Joseph Bears basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Central Bearcats to 38 in the Bears non-league victory on Monday.

The Bears now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norrix for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. St. Joseph will battle a Knights team coming off a 73-59 non-league loss to Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI). The Knights record now stands at 9-7.

The Bearcats (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Portage Central triumphed over Forest Hills Northern (Grand Rapids, MI), 59-49, in a non-league contest.
