In Monday's league outing, the St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) basketball squad beat the host Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI), by a margin of 72-55.
The Saints (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Rebels go into the Division 2 outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, South Kingstown was beaten by Lincoln (Lincoln, RI), 71-67, in a league outing.
The Chargers now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Tolman for a Division 2 outing on Wednesday, February 7. Chariho will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 74-56 league win over Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 15-4.
