The Chariton Chargers (Chariton, IA) basketball crushed the host Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA), 87-50 in Monday's non-league test.
The Chargers (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks go into the non-league test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Southeast Warren was trounced by Moravia (Moravia, IA), 68-63, in a non-league test.
The Sabers now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Moulton-Udell for a Bluegrass test on Tuesday, February 6. Twin Cedars will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 75-67 non-league win over Tri-County (Thornburg, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-9.
