The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Riverside Christian Academy Royals (Fayetteville, NC), 75-61 in Monday's non-league test.
The Defenders (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Liberty Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Knights go into the Carolinas Christian test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Liberty Christian Academy notched a victory over Grace Christian (Loris, SC), 55-32, in a league test.
The Royals now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Christian for a non-league test on Friday, February 9.
