The Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators to 60 in the Minutemen league triumph on Monday.

The Minutemen now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton Christian Academy for a VISAA Division IV contest on Friday, February 9. Denbigh Baptist Christian will battle a Warriors team coming off a 71-35 league win over Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 21-3.

The Gators (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA). The Seahawks enter the VISAA Division II contest with a 13-12 record. In their last contest, Atlantic Shores Christian nudged Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA), 64-24, in a league contest.
