The Denfeld Hunters basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Two Harbors Agates to 58 in the Hunters non-league triumph on Monday.
The Hunters now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cloquet for a AAA Section 7 contest on Thursday, February 8. Denfeld will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 83-74 league win over Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 13-9.
The Agates (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Moose Lake/Willow River was defeated by Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN), 75-70, in a non-league contest.
