Puxico Indians (Puxico, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dexter Bearcats (Dexter, MO), 71-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Puxico upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Zalma (Zalma, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Bearcats play the Woodland Cardinals (Marble Hill, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Dexter will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 15-1 record after their 67-64 non-league win over Kennett (Kennett, MO).
