Dupree Tigers (Dupree, SD) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks (Ridgeview, SD), 73-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Dupree upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Jones County (Murdo, SD) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 10-7. Jones County lost 64-52 in their recent non-league bout against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD)

Next up, the Thunderhawks play the Harding County Ranchers (Buffalo, SD) in a B Region 8 bout, on Thursday, February 8. Tiospaye Topa will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Ranchers come into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 67-56 non-league loss to Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD).
