Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA) and the visiting King Charter Jaguar (New Orleans, LA), saw East Jefferson's basketball squad knock off King Charter by a count of 75-66.

With the victory, East Jefferson upgrades its record to 10-20 on the campaign. The Warriors host Chalmette (Chalmette, LA) to play the Owls in a 5A District 8 challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 7-18. Chalmette lost 69-42 in their recent league challenge against John Ehret (Marrero, LA)

Next up, the Jaguar play the Crescent City Christian Pioneers (Metairie, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. King Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 18-8 record after their 110-36 league win over Varnado (Angie, LA).
