Wisconsin High School Basketball - Elk Mound tipped by St. Croix Central

The St. Croix Central Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Elk Mound Mounders to 55 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amery for a Middle Border contest on Thursday, February 8. St. Croix Central will meet a Warriors team coming off a 50-47 non-league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 8-11.
The Mounders (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Colfax (Colfax, WI). The Vikings enter the Dunn-St. Croix contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Colfax was nudged by Spring Valley (Spring Valley, WI), 61-43, in a league contest.
