The Springville Orioles basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Iowa Valley Tigers to 36 in the Orioles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Orioles now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edgewood-Colesburg for a Tri-Rivers contest on Tuesday, February 6. Springville will battle a Vikings team coming off a 49-41 league win over Midland (Wyoming, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-16.
The Tigers (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears enter the South Iowa Cedar contest with a 7-14 record.
