Medicine Lodge Indians (Medicine Lodge, KS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kingman Eagles (Kingman, KS), 51-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Medicine Lodge upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Trinity Academy won 63-31 in their recent non-league bout against Clearwater (Clearwater, KS)

Next up, the Eagles play the Garden Plain Owls (Garden Plain, KS) in a Central Plains bout, on Friday, February 9. Kingman will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 59-56 league win over Independent (Wichita, KS).
