The Thunderbirds travel to Sierra Grande (Blanca, CO) to play the Panthers in a 1A Southern Peaks challenge on Friday, February 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Next up, the Redhawks play the Cotopaxi Pirates (Cotopaxi, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. La Veta will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 60-59 non-league win over Crested Butte (Crested Butte, CO).
