With the victory, Mesa Verde improves its record to 4-21 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA) to confront the Knights in a Golden Empire League challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-16. Rio Linda won 85-36 in their recent league challenge against Woodland (Woodland, CA)

Next up, the Capitals confront the Cristo Rey Saints (Sacramento, CA) in a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Sacramento Adventist will attempt to improve on its 8-18 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 0-15 record after their 57-28 league loss to Faith Christian (Yuba City, CA).
