Millbury Woolies (Millbury, MA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA), 50-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Millbury upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Woolies host Malden Catholic (Malden, MA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Malden Catholic lost 75-44 in their recent league bout against Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA)

Next up, the Sammies play the Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers (Upton, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Sutton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Beavers go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 74-34 league win over Francis Parker Charter Essential School (Devens, MA).
