St. Patrick Shamrocks (Portland, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Morrice Orioles (Morrice, MI), 47-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Patrick upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Shamrocks host Potterville (Potterville, MI) to play the Vikings in a Central Michigan bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Potterville lost 68-33 in their recent league bout against Pewamo-Westphalia (Pewamo, MI)

Next up, the Orioles play the New Standard Academy Spartans (Flint, MI) in a Freelance bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Morrice will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 69-25 league win over Genesee (Genesee, MI).
