In Monday's non-league outing, the South Terrebonne Gators (Bourg, LA) basketball squad felled the host New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs (New Orleans, LA), by a margin of 62-52.
The Gators (3-16) will now prepare for their outing against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Terriers go into the 4A District 7 outing with a 22-2 record. In their last outing, Vandebilt Catholic thwarted Morgan City (Morgan City, LA), 67-26, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they travel to Landry for a bout on Friday, February 9. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy will play a Buccaneers squad coming off a 45-32 non-league loss to Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 17-13.
