Ontario Tigers (Ontario, OR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Nyssa Bulldogs (Nyssa, OR), 68-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ontario upgrades its record to 5-17 on the season. The Tigers travel to La Grande (La Grande, OR) to play the Tigers in a 4A Greater Oregon bout on Thursday, February 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-17. La Grande lost 57-53 in their recent league bout against Pendleton (Pendleton, OR)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Vale Vikings (Vale, OR) in a 3A Eastern Oregon bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Nyssa will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 60-48 league loss to Umatilla (Umatilla, OR).
