Omaha Nation Chiefs (Macy, NE) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA), 80-13 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Omaha Nation upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Chiefs host Walthill (Walthill, NE) to play the Blujays in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Blujays go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Walthill lost 70-60 in their recent non-league bout against Plainview (Plainview, NE)

Next up, the Warriors play the West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA) in a Western Valley - South bout, on Thursday, February 8. Whiting will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Hawkeyes go into the bout with a 5-18 record after their 51-21 non-league loss to Woodbury Central (Moville, IA).
