Louisiana High School Basketball - Port Barre ripped by Ville Platte

The Ville Platte Bulldogs basketball team scored 88 points and held the host Port Barre Red Devils to 44 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 15-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Church Point for a 3A District 4 contest on Thursday, February 8. Ville Platte will battle a Bears team coming off a 70-57 league loss to Northwest (Opelousas, LA). The Bears record now stands at 13-11.
The Red Devils (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 14-15 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart triumphed over St. Edmund (Eunice, LA), 52-43, in a league contest.
