Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ), 51-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Roxbury upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Gaels host Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ) to clash with the Marauders in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 11-10. Mount Olive lost 56-44 in their recent non-league bout against Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Voorhees will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 51-37 non-league win over Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ).
