In Monday's league outing, the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) basketball squad beat the host Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL), by a margin of 41-32.

The Red Wolves (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL). The Cardinals go into the outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Blue Island Eisenhower was beaten by Bremen (Midlothian, IL), 42-27, in a non-league outing.

The Meteors now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hillcrest for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 8.
