The Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) basketball felled the visiting New Philadelphia Quakers (New Philadelphia, OH), 62-45 in Monday's non-league test.
The Aviators (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Northwest thwarted Orrville (Orrville, OH), 37-27, in a league test.
The Quakers now own a 3-17 record. They play next when they host Mt. Vernon for a Ohio Cardinal test on Thursday, February 8. New Philadelphia will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 51-32 league loss to West Holmes (Millersburg, OH). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-13.
