Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Boothbay Seahawks (Boothbay Harbor, ME), 47-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mount Abram upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Roadrunners travel to Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME) to play the Bulldogs in a C South bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 16-1. Hall-Dale won 61-30 in their recent league bout against Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME)

Next up, the Seahawks play the Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Boothbay will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Phoenix come into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 65-32 non-league win over Winthrop (Winthrop, ME).
