The Bristol Central Rams basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Plainville Blue Devils to 42 in the Rams league triumph on Monday.
The Rams now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewis Mills for a Central Connecticut - West Colonial contest on Thursday, February 8. Bristol Central will meet a Spartans team coming off a 62-18 non-league win over Maloney (Meriden, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 8-8.
The Blue Devils (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Maloney (Meriden, CT). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, Maloney was routed by Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT), 62-18, in a non-league contest.
