The Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Mayer Lutheran Crusaders (Mayer, MN), 66-32 in Monday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (17-3) will now prepare for their test against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The Thunderbirds go into the A Section 2 test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop walloped Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN), 49-33, in a non-league test.

The Crusaders now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown for a non-league test on Thursday, February 8. Mayer Lutheran will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 56-51 league loss to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Buccaneers record now stands at 12-9.
