Mounds View Mustangs (Arden Hills, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN), 74-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mounds View upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 17-5. White Bear Lake won 63-47 in their recent league bout against Woodbury (Woodbury, MN)

Next up, the Rebels play the Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Champlin Park will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record. The Bengals come into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 71-50 league loss to Centennial (Circle Pines, MN).
