The Marshfield Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Chippewa Falls Cardinals to 31 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stevens Point for a Wisconsin Valley contest on Friday, February 9. Marshfield will meet a Panthers team coming off a 66-34 league win over Merrill (Merrill, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 15-6.
The Cardinals (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Menomonie (Menomonie, WI). The Mustangs enter the Big Rivers contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Menomonie triumphed over New Richmond (New Richmond, WI), 52-30, in a league contest.
