The Cuba City Cubans basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Platteville Hillmen to 57 in the Cubans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cubans now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boscobel for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest on Tuesday, February 6. Cuba City will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 66-53 league loss to Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-11.

The Hillmen (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against La Crosse Logan (La Crosse, WI). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, La Crosse Logan was defeated by Onalaska (Onalaska, WI), 60-36, in a league contest.
