Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI), 63-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Escanaba upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Eskymos travel to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI) to play the Flivvers in a Great Northern U.P. bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Flivvers go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Kingsford won 51-47 in their recent non-league bout against Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI)

Next up, the Modeltowners play the Negaunee Miners (Negaunee, MI) in a Mid-Peninsula bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Gwinn will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record.
