Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Falmouth Navigators (Falmouth, ME), 36-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Freeport upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season.

Next up, the Navigators play the Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME) in a A South bout, on Thursday, February 8. Falmouth will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Blue Blazes go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 48-45 league win over Marshwood (South Berwick, ME).
