The Genoa-Kingston Cogs basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Winnebago Indians to 48 in the Cogs league triumph on Monday.

The Cogs now sport a 11-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinckley-Big Rock for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 7. Genoa-Kingston will meet a Royals team coming off a 52-35 non-league loss to Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Royals record now stands at 17-11.

With the defeat, Winnebago moves to 10-19 on the year. The Indians travel to Rosary (Aurora, IL) to face the Royals in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 6. The Royals enter the game with a record of 8-19. Rosary lost 44-33 in their recent non-league game against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL)
