Westminster Christian Warriors (Elgin, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans (Aurora, IL), 41-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Westminster Christian upgrades its record to 6-17 on the campaign. The Warriors host Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 16-9. Wheaton Academy lost 45-38 in their recent league bout against St. Edward (Elgin, IL)

Next up, the Titans play the Somonauk/Leland Bobcats (Somonauk, IL) in a Little Ten bout, on Thursday, February 8. Illinois Math & Science Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 7-21 record after their 42-34 non-league win over Streator (Streator, IL).
