In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Mascoma Royals basketball team scored a decisive 54-31 triumph over the Hopkinton Hawks.
In their next game, the Royals meet the Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH) in a Division III match, on Thursday, February 8. Mascoma will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record.
With the defeat, Hopkinton moves to 13-3 on the year. The Hawks travel to St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH) to meet the Saints in a non-league match on Thursday, February 8. The Saints enter the match with a record of 14-1. St. Thomas Aquinas won 56-11 in their recent league match against Somersworth (Somersworth, NH)
